A LOCAL company is to receive funding from the Department of Trade and Industry to turn its innovative idea into a product of the future.

Hodgkinson Bennis Ltd, of Little Hulton, aims to look into the development of an affordable generator that will reduce pollution emissions. The mechanism would work with gas, oil and coal in the industrial and large commercial boiler market. Funding will come from DTI Smart, a scheme which provides economic support to small-to-medium sized enterprises.
