YET again it has been rumoured that a designer outlet may be built at the Trafford Centre.
When will the politicians wake up to the requirements of the people of Bolton. Surely the outlet complexes planned for The Valley and Middlebrook would be a plus for Bolton. We need to look forward to the millennium and not to Victorian style shopping.
With a well planned park and drive system between the complexes and the town centre, then all parties would benefit. I don't want to drive to the Trafford Centre or Cheshire Oaks again for my daughter's cheap designer clothes, when I can do ALL my shopping in Bolton.
We need to entice visitors to Bolton, and not point them in the direction of other outlets.
