THIS letter is written on Monday. The above is a typical sight which awaits any visitor to Doffcocker Lodge after the weekend. The dog walkers have obviously been "responsible" and are using the bin provided.
Unfortunately it will not be emptied until Thursday and bags of dog mess are becoming a health hazard for youngsters who come to feed the ducks. If we are going to have fines of £1,000 for not clearing up after our dogs, then the Council must do their part and empty the bins more than once a week, or provide more bins.
