IN May 1995, John Arthur and others founded an Association for former and present members of The Royal Air Force Fire Service and Defence Fire Service, (formerly AFDFS and Army) personnel.
Since its foundation, the Association has steadily grown, with now some 435 members.
There are regular reunions held, the next one will be in Leeds at the end of October 1999.
