I refer to the article: What do you think of fluoride? which appeared in the Letters Page on December 22.

I wholeheartedly agree with the writer and the comments made. I must also add, in support of the comments, that I had always believed that our MPs were elected to follow the wishes of their constituents and not their own private beliefs, nor indeed that of their Party. It appears that if these people, elected by us, are not willing to listen and accept the will of the people then they should not be in the position of trust.

There is no doubt at all that one of the reasons for anyone wanting to use fluoride in the water is, as always, to create bigger and better profits for the pharmaceutical industry. But, according to one leaflet on the subject, there is also a deeper underlying reason for this fluoride addition - to reduce the resistance of the masses to domination and control and loss of liberty.

I suppose you may feel that the Bolton Evening News should not be used for spreading of knowledge to us poor simple ignorant beings, (and I mean those words in the nicest of ways and not to insult). We are too trusting in anyone of higher rank and position, and this may be the reason why we allow governments to do anything they like, to, or at us.

Tell this to the MPs and see how they deny knowledge.
