AN ARMED raider walked into a travel agents in Atherton brandishing a hand gun and demanding cash yesterday afternoon.
The thief went into Carlton Worldwide on Market Street, Atherton, at 5.20pm.
He threatened staff with the gun and an undisclosed sum was handed over to him.
There were no customers in the shop at the time. The thief was wearing a dark coloured bob cap, a light coloured sweat shirt and trousers.
Detectives are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on 0161-872 5050.
