MURDERED Celeste Bates will be buried alongside her two children in Bolton next week.

The mum and her sons Daniel, eight, and Milo, 17 months, will be laid side-by-side in the same grave at Christ Church, Walmsley, Egerton, on Tuesday.

Mrs Bates's family believe the young mum, found dead with the two youngsters at their home in Blackburn Road, Egerton, last week, would have wanted her final resting place to be with her two "beloved" children.

The burial will follow a funeral service at the Blackburn Road church led by Rev David Brierley and his curate Rev Wendy Oliver.

Mourners will pack the Anglican church to say a final farewell to the family who were well known in the Bolton area.

Mrs Bates, 31, was deputy manager at Abafields Nursing Home, Bromwich Street, Bolton, and Daniel was a pupil at Egerton Primary School.

Baby Milo, who was only recently christened at Christ Church, attended Highview Nursery, Sharples.

Mourners will include Mrs Bates's husband Ian, who was Milo's father and Daniel's stepfather, as well as Mrs Bates's parents Joseph and Ethel Martins, who live in Yorkshire.

Funeral arrangements are being made by Relphs, Blackburn Road, Bolton.
