A MAN seriously injured in a quad bike accident on a Lancashire beach has lost his fight for life.
Terry Manley, from Ramsbottom, suffered appalling head injuries in the accident on Pilling Sands last month. He was airlifted to safety from the beach by officers aboard the Lancashire Police force helicopter.
Mr Manley was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital but died in the hospital's intensive care unit earlier this week.
