BUSINESSES in Bolton are being invited to enter a prestigious awards ceremony, Export Times Exporter of the Year.
The competition, now in its fourth year, is open to businesses who export to anywhere in the world.
The awards examine and reward excellence in export practice and this year there are seven categories to cater for companies of all sizes and to ensure the awards scheme recognises all the different aspects that make up a successful exporting operation.
Companies wishing to enter this year's awards are advised to get their entries in early with the deadline being Thursday, October 1.
The categories include: Corporate Exporter of the Year, Export Innovation, Partnership in Trading, New Exporter and, for the company that exports into markets against all odds, such as selling electronic consumer goods to Japan or bananas to the West Indies, the Trail Blazer Award.
The awards will be announced at a Grand Gala Dinner at the Savoy in London on Monday, December 7.
