SIR: I wonder if anyone in Bolton housing dept has any idea what happened to the men who were hired to insulate the cavity walls on the Mossfield Road Estate, Kearsley.
They were in the area at the same time as the men who were installing UPVC windows in 1997. They couldn't have done more than six houses before they swanned off, never to be seen again. I hope no one in the housing department has paid those men for completion of the cavity wall insulation, because the houses are still waiting to be done.
