ORGANISERS are looking for determined business teams to tackle swimming, cycling and running in the 1998 Bolton Charity Challenge Triathlon.

All cash raised will be donated to Bolton Lads and Girls Club and Bolton Life Education Trust, which helps children to say no to drugs.

A total of 24 teams of three people will take on the challenge in and around Horwich Leisure Centre on June 14.

Every competitor will receive a T-shirt and a computer print-out of their individual performance over the tough course which includes a one mile swim, 15 mile bike ride and six mile run.

Prizes will be awarded at various levels for teams and individuals in what is expected to become an annual event.

Registration for each team requires a minimum donation of £250.

Once teams are registered official sponsor forms will be sent out to encourage teams to raise as much money as possible.

The event is being organised by the Rotary Club of Bolton Daybreak and the main sponsors are the Bolton Evening News, St Andrews Travel and Lancaster Press printers.

Entry forms are available from the reception at the Bolton Evening News offices in Churchgate or from Carlyle House, 78 Chorley New Road, Bolton, BL1 4BY, telephone Bolton 527451.
