SIR: Do you suffer from agoraphobia, or are you a relative or friend of a sufferer? Do you feel your message is not getting across? That you don't understand the limitations your relative or friend has? Do you feel life has passed you by because of the phobia, and no one really wants to know?
As a sufferer for 30 years, I have often felt very frustrated at the lack of knowledge and understanding surrounding sufferers of this phobia. I intend to write a book which will explore and explain the phobia from a personal and social aspect, highlighting the problems which make it so debilitating for the sufferer.
