SIR: I note Councillor Helsby is pleased with the new Timeline bus 539, which will run from Bolton to Horwich via Westhoughton. But once again Blackrod is missed out.
The Middlebrook Development is on the doorstep of Blackrod Township, yet the people of Blackrod who don't have their own car, have NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT to get there.
As Councillor Helsby is a Councillor for the Blackrod ward, I am a little surprised he is pleased with something which misses out his own electorate.
