ALICE Bowmer is producing J B Priestley's An Inspector Calls for St Vincent's ADS. The play will be staged in the Parish Centre, Rutherford Drive, Over Hulton, from May 26 to May 30.
Trained professionally in the Drama Department of the then Northern College of music, Alice has taught movement and drama in local schools, notably Hayward High School, the first school in the Bolton area to have a full-time drama teacher.
She has been associated with many local amateur dramatic and musical societies, not only on stage but as producer and choreographer.
She produced Sailor Beware for St Philip's ADS about 18 months ago and played Golda in Fiddler on the Roof for Horwich AODS. Other societies she has worked with include St Catherine's and the Theatre Church.
Alice has acted with St Vincent's ADS since their first production in 1996.
