SIR: I wish to reassure readers about the future of Age Concern, Bolton, following the misleading and inaccurate letter entitled "Ghost Town" (BEN February 26.
Thanks to generous support from Bolton Metro we have a thriving centre at Ashburner Street and the wide range of services provided from here will continue unchanged. Our exciting Learning Centre, to be built in Farnworth will provide an additional range of learning, personal development and volunteering opportunities for older people throughout the borough. It will run alongside our ever popular Ashburner Street Centre and not in place of it.
