SIR: I reply to 'Rat of the week' (February 25). I wholly agree and empathise with Mrs Rodely regarding the 'rat' who broke into her car. However, I resent the implication of "I hope the seat now rots and it fails to do its job". The only one to suffer if this happened would be the child sitting in it.
