SIR: So John Prescott has decided to walk to work followed by his Ministerial car carrying his work documents.
He has had his photo shown in the national press (but with no explanation about him walking with a slowly-moving car alongside). Is this getting cars off the road?.
I suppose he's had consultations with the giants of the car manufacturers in the UK and told them to cut back on car production because the cars won't be out and around.
