GREGGS North West have appointed Karen Bates as area manager for its shops in the Bury and Rochdale region.
She began her career with Greggs as a Saturday girl in 1985 and has spent the last five years as area manager with Birmingham-based Braggs, a division of Greggs plc.
Greggs have also appointed Andrea Chadwick as technical manager, based at the company's bakery in Clayton.
Andrea, who comes from Bury, was previously quality assurance facilitator.
