THE mental health charity, Mencap, is seeking Bolton people to join a cycle ride across "one of the most enchanting countries on earth".
The 400 kilometre bike ride will span 10 days, visiting the Taj Mahal, one of the most magnificent monuments ever built, on the journey from the Himalayas to the Ganges.
Anybody interested would be required to pay £300 registration fee and raise sponsorship money. Then flights, food and accommodation will be free.
The ride will take place in November and Mencap needs more than 100 people to make the effort worthwhile.
Mencap will offer participants fundraising tips, moral support and will arrange a pre-ride to meet fellow cyclists and develop a team spirit.
