SIR: Two stories caught my eye in (BEN February 10): "Youth's death, a warning to his friends' and 'Opium den charges'. It seems to me that, along with all the other problems this country faces, drugs is another major problem.
The only solution is more customs officers to seize the drugs. I don't think legalising drugs will be an answer. It could make the problem ten times worse. If there are no drugs there can be no drug pushers. All resources should be utilised to stop hard drugs like heroin into the country and therefore onto the street.
