SIR: I read the article by Angela Warhurst (BEN January 20) regarding the proposed increased charges at Harrowby's and Falcon View centres.
She should have got her facts straight. The people who attend the above centres have learning disabilities and are not mentally ill. It was the opinion of the spokeswoman that their charges are good value for money. Unfortunately, there are many people who do not subscribe to her opinion.
It would be very nice to know the name of the woman who made this statement.
