SIR: Could someone from Social Services please explain how the proposed changes in the High Dependency Units will save £51,000 per year.
At a meeting at Merton, we were assured that there would be exactly the same amount of cover that there is now, so are we to assume that the new teams will be working for less money?
The residents and their relatives do not want this change. The staff now employed are caring, competent and dedicated.
