Wanderers are in the Premier League for food as well as football.

A new guide book rates the Reebok Stadium 16th out of England's 92 professional clubs for quality of their half time grub.

The Colman's Football Food Guide, out next month priced £4.95, gives tips on what - and if - hungry soccer fans should be eating at and near grounds.

Top of the league are Cambridge United with Huddersfield second and Rochdale third while Wanderers are actually rated the third best Premiership ground for food with only Manchester United (12th) and Coventry (13th) above them.

Wanderers' Mahoney's Pie Shops get a pat on the back for their "tasty, hot and wholesome" pies.

Of the other local teams, Blackburn Rovers are 52nd, Manchester City are 78th and Bury come 81st.

Wembley's rating lives up to its reputation with the national stadium way down in 89th, three places above the bottom placed Premiership ground, White Hart Lane.

A word or warning - fans might be wise to take sandwiches to bottom club Leyton Orient and next to bottom Swansea City who both got across the board ratings of "bad" for the three categories of quality, variety and value.
