RACIAL diversity in the workforce and business partnerships is the theme of a conference to be held at the Reebok Stadium, Horwich on February 25.
Race for Opportunity, the national campaign which is behind the event, aims to provide practical initiatives to help companies address the needs of Britain's growing ethnic minority communities.
It is chaired by Charles Allen, Chief Executive of the Granada Group, who believes that British business must be competitive and world-class to succeed in a global economy.
He says: "We will not compete effectively unless we harness all the talent and resources available to us.
"Racism will blight the ability of British firms to compete successfully in the global marketplace."
The conference is free to all interested businesses.
It is supported by Race for Opportunity, Bolton Bury Training and Enterprise Council, Bolton Bury TEC Quest Centre, Business in the Community, Bolton Metro Ethnic Minority Businesses and Bolton City Challenge Partnership.
