Where's the lovely weather gone?

Where is all the sun?

People basked in the warmth,

Now through the rain they run.

The skies all grey and gloomy,

There's not a lot of cheer.

Why does summer seem to last,

But a week in every year?

So come on Mr Sunshine,

Don your hat again.

Smile your warm and sunny smile,

To chase away the rain. By Stuart Edward Galligan,

Hugh Lupus Street,

Bank Top, Bolton.
