POLICE are appealing for witnesses who may hold the key to the last hours of a 21-year-old woman.
Her body was found in the Leeds Liverpool canal behind the Sportsman Pub, Leigh yesterday. Her identity has not been revealed. Police say she died from natural causes.
She is described as 5ft 8ins tall, slim build with long blonde hair in a pony tail. She wore a red knitted top and black jeans.
Anyone who may have seen the woman between 9pm on Monday and 9am on Tuesday is asked to ring 0161-872 5050.
