SIR: You play the lottery at your peril! That was the message of Bolton Little Theatre's production of 'Lucky Sods' by John Godber, which I saw on Saturday, September 20.
It was an excellent opening production of their 97/98 season. I particularly liked Keith Taylor as Morris Sod. His mobile face could milk laughs from reciting the alphabet.
BLT's production of 'Amongst Barbarians'- which won best play in the BEN Amateur Theatre Awards for 1996 - was well deserved.
So, come on Boltonians, check out your live theatre scene. You will be shocked, amazed and delighted.
