Wolves Reserves 2, Bolton Wanderers Reserves 1 WANDERERS' Reserves unbeaten start to the season came to an end at Molineux last night.

n a game of numerous chances it was the long range strikes from Dominic Foley and Jermaine Wright that won the points for Wolves.

Lee Potter got Bolton back into it nine minutes from time, having earlier been guilty of missing a simple chance in front of goal and then striking the crossbar with a tremendous volley.

Foley gave notice of his intentions in the sixth minute with a 25 yard strike that was saved by Matt Glennon. Seconds later he let fly from almost the same spot and the young keeper was helpless as the ball flew into the bottom corner of the net to put Wolves ahead.

Bolton looked more than capable of pulling back the deficit. Their best spell of possession came in the early stages of the second half which saw Scott Taylor have a shot turned away by keeper Hans Segers after he had broken through Wolves defence.

The home side went two up in the 64th minute after Wright was allowed to cut in from the left to blast the ball home from 20 yards.

Nine minutes from time Segers again denied Taylor with a good save but almost immediately he was left helpless when Potter headed Peter Morrison's left wing cross into the net.

Unfortunately Bolton couldn't find another chance that would have given them the opportunity of an equaliser.
