FEW people are completely satisifed with what Nature gave them. And there is probably no more controversial area for self-improvement than women's bustline. There's either too much or too little, and anything which will alter the situation for the better is worth a try. Here, highlights two sides of the 'problem'. It's the ultimate in inflation.

Yet, at £350 a pair, silicone breast enhancers are proving so popular for Bolton women who want to be busty that they're not shrinking from the price.

J R Taylor's lingerie buyer Shirley Bould spotted them at a trade show in Harrogate, and was impressed enough to order for the Deansgate store.

Unsurprisingly, the Monique range comes from America where already women wanting a voluptuous bustline are happy to shun the surgeon's knife in favour of the enhancers' gentle silicone curves.

And Monique has already been voted top-value of its type in the UK by BBC's Watchdog programme, where they know all about quality boobs.

They look just like silicone implants, but are worn inside the bra rather than inside the skin. The enhancers are not cheap - the Push 'N Up to simply add cleavage costs around £150. The Push 'N Out, which adds one full cup size and "creates overflow", is the same price.

You Plus (adds one and a half to two cup sizes) is £250, and the Push 'N Plus which adds a remarkable three full cup sizes, is £350.

But, as Shirley explains, the money has not caused a problem. "They've all been selling really well since we got the range in the store," she states.

Some women have come in with their husbands, some alone. All have been delighted.

"It certainly seems to fulfill a need for a better bust shape," adds Shirley. "The enhancers are comfortable, and they do work extremely well."
