ACCIDENT prevention specialists will challenge youngsters to a giant game of noughts and crosses this Saturday.

The game has been designed by Home Safety advisers as a fun way of teaching basic safety rules and will be at the Playfair event on the Town Hall Square.

Children will also be able to test their powers of observation with an exciting Spot the Hazards game or to try out their artist skills as they make their own sun visors.

Parents will be able to meet Home Safety advisers, a Health Visitor and other members of the Health for Bolton Child Accident Prevention Group, at the event which marks the start of Summer Safety Challenge.

The activities will be at the Enviromental Health Services exhibition caravan on the Town Hall Square between 10am and 4pm.

Other activities at Heywood Adventure Playworld, Waggon Road and Barlow Park will take place over the summer.
