THE Unitarian Charity are sending 17 Bolton children and three leaders from the Sunnyside Play Centre, Great Lever on a week's holiday to Derbyshire.
The party leave on July 21. The trip is funded by the charity, named 'Send-A-Child-To-Hucklow-Fund', which is a trust set up to arrange holidays at the Unitarian Holiday Centre at Great Hucklow, near Tideswell.
Set up in 1960 with a budget of £60 the charity now offers 13 holidays a year to groups of deprived children from all over the country at a cost of more than £30,000.
An interesting programme of horse riding, visits to the caves, and a day at the 'Heights of Abraham', Matlock Bath has been arranged for the party.
