DETECTIVES are still hunting a thug who escaped empty handed after threatening a Bolton post mistress with a hand gun.
The masked man fled from Darcy Lever Post Office, Radcliffe Road, after the woman locked herself in a room at about 10.30am yesterday. He is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, and wearing a blue tracksuit top. Anyone who saw him should contact Astley Bridge CID.
