SIR: I refer to the GM Bus Services, Bolton/Manchester No 28.
The government are trying to get more people into using public transport. It would never work.
I and a couple of friends have been trying it for a few weeks once again as we packed in before, and used taxis. The buses were unreliable. The first few weeks were OK. Bus services 8.05pm to Bolton return 10.05pm. Third week 10.05pm no bus. A lot of young people catch this service and were stuck at various bus stops around the route.
We all buy return tickets as they work out cheaper. Twenty-five minutes later a Timeline bus arrived going to Farnworth. A few people jumped on that but had to pay again. The service don't do return tickets.
I don't know how long the other people waited but it spoiled our night.
Verdict: (three lads): Forget British Bus Services.
