Thirteen-year-old Horwich RMI Harrier Mark Smith is celebrating after agreeing a sponsorship deal with Walsh Footwear.
Mark is currently the under-12's English Fell Champion, runner-up in the under-14 British Fell Championship, Red Rose Cross Country Under-13's champion and runner-up in the South East Lancs Under-13's Cross Country championship.
He also represented Bolton at the recent Greater Manchester Youth Games where he recorded a season's best of 4 minutes 49 for the 1500m.
