SIR: A leaflet delivered today from Bolton West Liberal Democrats states that both the Conservative and Labour candidates have 'little knowledge of Bolton and its needs'.
The Labour candidate was selected only a few months ago.
However, Tom Sackville the Conservative seeking re-election, has represented Bolton West for 14 years and has worked tirelessly for ALL his constituents on many issues vitally important for the well-being of Bolton West people. He and his family have had a home in Bolton West for all the 14 years he has been an MP and they have set a good example of family life.
Tom Sackville has certainly not been an 'absentee representative' but is very much part of the Bolton West community.
