FUNDRAISING zeal by Bury's Christie Peelers has netted more than £4,000 for Manchester's specialist cancer hospital in just 18 months.
The Christie Peelers is a Bury-based group of around a dozen former cancer patients or relatives who raise money to help finance developments at the Christie Hospital.
A programme of events is being drawn up for this summer but they are still looking for more people to join them.
