SIR: Whatever happened to the lunch-time concerts?

If towns like Rochdale can attract a weekly following by engaging quality artistes to entertain for a full hour at an entrance fee of only 60p (until recently 50p) and offer reasonably priced light lunches beforehand, why cannot Bolton?

Perhaps an ante-room as venue would be preferable to trying to fill the Albert Hall. Powers-that-be, why not give it a go?

Do you think lunch-time entertainment at the Albert Halls would be well supported? You will have your say in Talking Point tomorrow.
