SIR: The controversy over the dearth of Ballroom Dancing venues in Bolton is not new. A letter was published in the BEN, not long after the restoration of the Town Hall following the disastrous fire, about the tea dances disappearing.
A Town Hall spokesman recently said if there was a demand for 'Ballroom', it would be considered. Then why were the dances axed in the first place?
