SIR: Most towns would be justly proud to boast that Charles Dodgson had been a local man, but not, seemingly, does Daresbury, where elite residents prefer to let the legendary Lewis Carroll's name fade into the past.
It is ridiculous for any town to forget famous esteemed literary characters in my view. All the country's famed people should be remembered.
