A THUG stubbed out a lighted cigarette in a teenager's face as he robbed him of just 70p.

The 16-year-old boy was left in agony after the attack as he sat in a car in Lee Lane, Horwich.

His attacker walked up to the car, opened the door and demanded money before thrusting the cigarette in his face. The boy handed over 70p - all the money he had - and the thug ran off.

He was white, 5ft 8 to 5ft 9ins, aged 17 to 18, thin build and clean shaven. He was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit top with a white stripe down each arm and dark coloured trousers and a bob hat.

He suffered shock and bruising and a suspected broken wrist in the attack at 4.30pm last Friday.

The attackers were both white, 6ft tall and aged 20-25. One had dark brown hair and was wearing an orange jacket. The other had a skin head and was wearing a bright yellow jacket. Two men conned their way into the home of a 93-year-old woman pretending to be water company workers.

One kept her occupied while the second searched the living room and stole cash, a watch, a pension book and the woman's birth certificate. The total value stolen was £500.

Both men were white. One was 18-20, the other in his 20s. Both were about 5ft 8 and wearing dark clothing.
