DETECTIVES are hunting a knife-wielding thug who repeatedly stabbed a man on a Worsley bus last night.
The 26-year-old man was stabbed several times in the arms and stomach after a row with two other men.
The incident happened shortly after 10.45pm on the number 68 Worsley bus.
The victim boarded the bus in Regent Road, Salford, with a 37-year-old friend.
During a row with the two men, he was attacked with the knife. His companion was stabbed in the wrist when he went to his friend's aid. Police have released descriptions of the two men involved.
Both are white and are aged 25 to 30. The knifeman is of medium build, 5ft 8ins tall with long straggly blond hair with a centre parting. He was wearing a black Nike jacket.
The second is about 5ft 9ins tall with short hair wearing a blue jumper with horizontal white stripes.
