THE Bolton Interfaith Fellowship has arranged a meeting to greet the new owners of the Unitarian Church in Deane Road, Bolton, which has been sold to a Hindu community.
The building is to be converted into a Hindu temple.
The meeting will take place in Unity Church, Deane Road, at 10am on Saturday, September 14, and will close with a faith lunch at 12.30pm. Visitors are asked to take an item of food to be shared at lunch time.
Leaders of the new temple will answer questions about the Hindu faith and their plans for the building when it changes hands in the near future.
The Bolton Interfaith Fellowship was set up to promote understanding and harmony between all religious and cultural groups in Bolton.
