WIGAN keep the same side that crushed Workington last week for their Premiership semi-final clash at home to Bradford Bulls tomorrow night.

A clean bill of health means the deposed champions have no injury excuses as they make their final bid for silverware this season.

The Riversiders are desperate to salvage something from what has been, by their exceptionally high standards, a disappointing season.

The Central Park giants swept all before them last season, taking the Championship, Regal Trophy, Challenge Cup and Premiership, and a bare trophy cabinet would be a bitter pill for their success-hungry supporters to swallow.

To qualify for a fifth successive Premiership final appearance, Wigan need to get past rejuvenated Bradford, who will be determined to give outgoing coach Brian Smith some tangible reward for a successful spell at Odsal.

Wigan are still smarting from their Super League defeat at Odsal but coach Graeme West warns they will have to be at their best to beat the Bulls.

"The lads are in a confident frame of mind but we have to make sure we do everything right - close it down when necessary and take the pressure. We have to be patient.

"The lads want to do well and there is a lot of pride at stake but remember Bradford are in the same state. They have had a lot of hype but haven't won anything," he said.

West retains Shaun Edwards at scrum-half and admits that the player, who has just had his contract extended by 12 months, has always been his number one.

"I never doubted it, but Shaun had his own agenda and was trying to do too much. Murdock came in and the backs saw much more of the ball. Hopefully Shaun has now buckled down to doing what I want him to do," added West.
