BELLE Vue take a break from team racing to stage their only individual speedway meeting of the season tonight (7 30), writes JOHN TURNER.
The Peter Craven Memorial Trophy has been revived after a four-year break, with fans getting two meetings in one.
Fourteen senior riders will battle for the top prize over 15 heats with the juniors then having their own nine-race competition. Meanwhile, the London Stadium in Hackney tomorrow stages the biggest meeting in Britain this year, the penultimate round of the world championship Grand Prix series.
Sky Sports will televise the meeting live from 7pm. Reigning champion Hans Nielsen (Denmark) 77 points, American Billy Hamill, 70, and Sweden's 1994 world champion Tony Rickardsson, 68, lead the series after four rounds.
