THE Bolton Group of the Ramblers' Association have another packed programme for September.
On Saturday the 7th, they are off on a coach trip to walk stage six of the Eden Way from Aisgill to Sedbergh. Bookings on 01942 876144. The coach will leave Spa Road at 8am. On Sunday the 15th, there's another coach trip to Cumbria, this time to walk stage nine of the Thirlmere Way from Kendal to Windermere. Bookings on 0161 764 7286. The coach will leave Moor Lane car park at 8am.
Nearer home, there's a footpath discovery walk on the 22nd along the Bolton Way, meeting at Jumbles car park off Bradshaw Road at 2pm. Call Bolton 592786 or just turn up.
And there's a series of Moorsrail Rambles on the 28th. The A walk is from Bromley Cross station and the B walk from Entwistle station. Ring Bolton 696379 for more details.
