A GUNMAN stole more than £1,600 after threatening to shoot staff at a Radcliffe building society.
The hooded raider threatened cashiers after running into the Alliance and Leicester Building Society in Blackburn Street shortly before 5pm yesterday.
He forced a cashier to put £1,605 into a carrier bag before fleeing on foot.
The raider is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, in his mid 20s with a spotty complexion. He was wearing a blue/burgundy hooded anorak with a blue baseball cap and scruffy blue jeans.
