ACROBAT Business Communications has appointed 32-year-old Pippa Walker from Worsley as project manager.
The company is the management development arm of Manchester-based Acrobat Television and Pippa will be in charge of the company's latest executive development programme aimed at senior and middle managers in UK companies. The programme has been developed jointly with Sunworld Sailing - one of Britain's top yacht charterers and involves an intensive week of sailing-related assignments in Greece and Turkey aboard 28ft to 32ft yachts. Courses cost around £200 per day for each delegate, inclusive of transport, accommodation, subsistence and comprehensive training support.
Pippa said: "It takes outward bound courses and other familiar management development exercises a stage further with a unique blend of tough sailing challenges, team-building initiatives and skills development."
