A MAN was trapped in his car for over an hour yesterday following a crash on Wigan Road at Westhoughton.
The accident happened at about 12.15am.
A Mitsubishi Lancer being driven by Michael Derbyshire, aged 18, of Higher Ince was in collision with an Astra driven by Imtiaz Yusuf, aged 29, of Nottingham Drive, Bolton. Mr Yusuf had to be freed from the wreck by the fire brigade.
Both men were taken to Bolton Royal Infirmary with serious leg injuries.
