NEW Lane have won the BOLTON SUNDAY LEAGUE Premier Division for the second season running.

They clinched the title with a sparkling 3-0 win over White Lion in midweek then went on to celebrate their success by ramming five past Cattle Market on Sunday.

The champions are unbeaten in the league for over two years.

White Lion's season continues to fall apart as they slumped to a shock 2-1 defeat by Red Lion.

Rob Hanlon and Jason Mills got the Red Lion goals with Mark Smith replying.

Two goals from ace marksman Tony Whitley helped Oxford Grove to a 4-1 win over Tonge Fold while Manchester Road Inn sealed fourth spot with a 5-3 victory over Lads Club. Neil Moss was the Road Inn hero with four goals.

Division One champions Feathers showed no sign of slacking as they beat Bolton Castle 2-1 while Rawson Rangers clinched runners-up spot with a 4-2 win over Valley.

Billy Nuttall was on the mark for Brightmill Romac who drew 1-1 with Whitefield in Division Two.

In the Third Division, Derby Street Glass have pipped FC Lowton for the runners-up spot after beating them 3-1.

In the Fourth Division, Three Pigeons bounced back after losing 7-6 last week to beat Toby Inn 8-6.

Mark Williams scored four and Chris Whitehead notched two with Lyndon Monks among the goals for Toby Inn.

Seven Stars' (Harwood) goal machine, Dean Holt, scored two as his side crushed Chorley Rovers 9-1.
