A 17-YEAR-OLD boy in council care was due to appear before Bolton magistrates today charged with attempted murder and rape bid allegations.
The teenager has been accused of the attempted murder and attempted rape of a 46-year-old woman. He was quizzed throughout yesterday and detained in custody overnight at Astley Bridge Police Station.
